Bought 3 bags of ice for my halloween

Fog chiller.
$1.19 last Halloween per bag. Today it cost $1.79 for the same bag. That is over a 50% increase..for ice! Frozen water!
I though inflation was a symptom of supply chain disruptions, not the mass printing of currency. But we don't import frozen water, do we?

I work in packaging. The increase is mostly in the plastic, not in the ice.

The fuel service charge goes up and down with the price of fuel but the overall cost to those needing goods shipped has not.

Think again. Plastic is WAY up! This is a 12 month chart. It's crazy high right now. I've been in this business 15+ years and never seen anything like it.

weird things being hard/impossible to find and higher prices on everything. Having said that……it’s far far worse in Europe. Would you believe, 3 bags of ice……sixty-six dollars? Yes the bill was in Euros but my invoice had the conversion.
