Getting ready to purchase tickets for a game. Any recommendation for seat locations from those who have attended a game?

What game? How many seats. How much do you want to spend?

At that price you should be able to decent seats.... a few tings you should know...
1. Do not buy any seats by the pesky pole (right field) ... you will be looking over your left shoulder the entire game. 2. If you get grandstand seats try to get in the first 5 rows... after that they will have some sort of obstructed view. 3. Last section down the left field line is non-alcoholic section 4. If it is a day game try and get seats on the visitor side otherwise you will be in the sun all game 5. Don’t know how big you are... but the grandstand seats are old wooden seats that are very uncomfortable especially if you are tall or wide.
Hope that helps...
If you like oysters... go to Island Creek Oyster in Kenmore Square before or after the game.... get the Duxbury oysters
Go Sox.... Go Tigers

Loge Box Seats....

First of I envy you, you are in for a great experience.
I would recommend you check out Loge Box seats, basically sections 98-160 (they are painted red). You are in the infield and not in sections where you have to be concerned about obstructed views due to support columns. I think for that game you can find some Loge seats in your budget.
Park was built in 1912 so definitely a different experience.
Enjoy and Go Red Sox.

Thanks for all of the replies.
We booked a room at the Kimpton Nine Zero and plan on taking the T to the park.
Which side would you suggest for the Loge Box Seats? Looking at 101 or 155. tigerpsych®

105 and 101 are great seats but since it is a Sunday day game down the 3rd baseline would give you less sun. Either side you will have a great day.

Sat front row on same level as dugout. We’re too close. Would recommend 1st base line

I sat first base line in '16 for a game and it was great. It was verse the Orioles and tickets weren't bad.. I believe I paid 75 a piece to be maybe 10 rows up, just a bit past first plate.

Before the all star break. Paid about $125 per seat. The top attached pic is section 133, the bottom is 129. Got Mookie Betts 13 pitch at bat grand slam on video! He’s my 10yr olds favorite player, so it was truly awesome!

either the seats in section in the 150's - 3rd base or 98,99 or 101 - 1st base
any of those will give you a great view
my favorite seats at in the mid 70's sections. low and you get a great view of the infield
sat on the Monster for a Sunday day game... it was fantastic.. and $$$$ but well worth the one time splurge
Go Sox!
