a QB sneak type of play.

We’ve had several bad snaps and missed communication on handoffs this year. But we felt more comfortable shotgun snapping and handing the ball off than simply letting DJ fall down as a 250LB fullback.

That’s a complete lack of preparation.

Agree. Not sure why we did the same thing with Tajh. Why not take some extra time and at least begin practicing some taking a snap under center especially with a guy the size of DJ. It could certainly come in handy with us trying to score from inside the opponents 2-3 yd line in the future too.

However, as Dabo said, if you fumble the ball as Shipley did, it doesn't really matter.
