Blaming the O Line

Sep 4, 2021, 9:25 PM

For the way this game has started is being a lazy fan with little understanding of the game of football.

DJ is lost. He is holding the ball too long because he isn’t seeing the field at all. The moment at this point is too big for him.
The game plan and play calling (offensively) is as bad as I have seen. From the actual plays, to the formations, to the complete abandonment of the run game.
Thank God for Brent Venables, if we had an offensive coordinator on his level we maybe unstoppable.

Neither of these teams can hang with Bama.

Tony Elliot is the problem. If we throw the ball down the line one more time, my head will explode.

Oh yes, that's a big of the problem. But agree there are multiple problems.

Yes, DJ does look lost, but he’s green and the Oline is falling apart and he’s having to get the ball off quick. Can you blame him? I noticed this during the spring game. Within seconds the Oline would crumble and he would toss the ball or run for his life.
They’ve got to calm him down and the offense has to get focused and physical.
