blackout workaround help

I am signing up for PS Vue. In the beginning, while signing up, it asks for a Zip Code. This is how it decides what market you are in.
You can't use a VPN with Vue, it gives an error. So, I need to decide what location to tell PS Vue that I am in to avoid running in to a blackout later.
I'm trying to figure out the best location to tell it. Alaska? Hawaii? I don't want to inadvertently black out a Clemson game in California (Rose bowl or something) or any other state.

You will now get Alaska local channels. However, it will determine you are not in Alaska by your internet providers information and lock your account until you actually are in Alaska.

It didn't lock the account. It gives me Greenville channels based off of my ISP IP. I have tried Winscribe, Nordic, and Turbo VPNs. All are detected and cause me to not be able to view.
End result: It didn't help to say I was in Alaska

Be careful. I used to live in Memphis, and I could never get an ACC game while living there, unless it was on ESPN. All the other channels only showed SEC contests. I had to use the internet just to keep track of the scores. That was many years ago though, so maybe it's no longer an issue. Maybe you could CHANGE your zip code later, as if you had made a mistake initially. Not sure.
Here's a thought. While researching these streaming sites, they indicated I could take my Roku with me while traveling, and still use it. I guess the streaming site would still use your entered zip code, and not use the zip code you were actually located in, but I'm not sure how that would work.

Good choice to select PSVue. It's the only one with NFL Network, NFL Red Zone, NHL Network, and also ACC Network Extra.
Bad choice to not select your actual location. You should call them up and switch that, before you do get blacked out - for not being where you signed up for the service.
You will never miss a game on a national network (Rose Bowl, etc.), no matter where you are. Sometimes during the season there will be games that are either on ESPN or ABC, depending on where you live in the country. But both of the games are on those two stations. It just depends where you live as far as which one of those stations the game will be on. I believe ESPN calls this scenario a reverse mirror.

If it's blacked out, it's because it's carried by a competing (yet still available) channel, to which I will also have access.
It didn't matter that I put Alaska as my residence anyway. It still shows local Greenville channels based off my ISP IP.

So, PSVUE will have ACC Network and ACC Network extra? Please excuse my ignorance.
TIA

I have PS Vue and have never been blacked out of any Clemson football / basketball, Panthers football, or Atlanta Braves games. I live in Clemson FWIW.
