It's gonna hit 100k in 2 years once the feds figure out how to buy it too. They'd love anonymity as much as the next

Bitcoin will die like MySpace

Feb 24, 2022, 12:42 AM

But it will have paved the way for other cryptocurrencies to flourish.

All crypto is going to get demolished for a bit. I will take currency and precious metals if the world goes to shyatt. The last thing I want in world chaos is trying to figure out how to stay afloat with crypto currencies.

I continue to invest in semiprecious metals and tangible assets, like lead and carbon steel. Sometimes polymers too.

Same here. And then use those to protect my other assets like real estate and to provide food for my family.

WOW! What an incredible comeback!

Feb 24, 2022, 4:39 PM

From dropping to low around mid 34,000 early this morning to finish UP for the day at $38,500...

... a $4,500 swing down and back up in 12 hours!!!

I don't want any part of that crap. Waaaay too volatile.

Hedge Funds pumping and dumping coins to meet margin calls. This market is teetering on the edge.

Keep in mind it was $3,500 about 3 years ago. Even if you bought at the $20K peak in 2017 then "lost everything" but kept it you are still in great shape.

I am not a believer in crypto BUT if you have been playing for >3 years, your return is still over 10X

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Bingo

Feb 25, 2022, 10:07 AM

And now with inflation around 25% (no one is buying that 7% lie) and going up further, you don’t want cash, and stock returns won’t make up that gap. It’s time to take more risks. For years now crypto has been a very safe risk.

Pretty simple to protect yourself, treat crypto currencies

Feb 25, 2022, 11:16 AM

like any other individual asset and don't have more than 5-10% of your investible net worth in it.

People who go all in on something like that boggle the mind. Like taking your life savings to a casino and laying it all out.

You only hear from people who lucked up and hit the jackpot. The ones that lose their butts quietly slink back home. So people have an inflated sense of success on these risky things.

People should treat crypto like a really risky penny stock. Play with it, but don't bet your future on it.
