Birck Boilermaker Classic - Forme Tour

Weather delay in today's second round. Roughly 3/4 of the field completed their round. Leaders currently at -8. Current cut is projected @-2. Could move to 3. 2 of our 3 Tigers completed their round.

Turk @ -7 thru 2nd round and currently t3. He shot a sweet 66 yesterday. 7 birdies and 1 bogey. Today he couldn't sink a putt. Shot -1. Bogeyed the easiest hole par 5 on the course. Pretty much lost 2 shots to the field. He had 2 birdies.

Bryson @ -5 thru 2nd round. Much like Turk, had a nice 68 opening rnd but could only muster a -1 today. Twice he birdied only to bogey the next hole. Currently t16 but both will drop after the rnd completes in the A.M.

Carson - shot up and down even par yesterday and is currently +1 today. He still has the inward half in the morning but has to finish minimum -2 for a cut.

Hopefully Turk and Bryson regain opening round magic for the "weekend" rounds. Top 10's on the Forme tour you usually have to finish -16 or better. So as nice as 67's are, you pretty much have to shoot mid 60's EVERY round to win.

Side note: 2 of the top 5 in merit points failed to make cut and 2 more are scrambling for the cut.

Carson failed to make the cut. He had 5 birdies and appeared to be on the cut but 2 double bogeys derailed his efforts.

Turk finished t4 - 1 back of 3 leaders. Bry finished t14.

Tee times are late today. ??

Bryson tees it up at 1130 CST. His playing partners today are ##### and Petefish.

Turk tees it up at noon CST. Good luck boys. I counted at least 5 that failed to cut that were in front of Turk and Bryson in points.

I can't stay off it. That and the Olympics until it got weather delayed. I was looking for the ladies olympic link and got sidetracked... Especially when, well you know. Gosh I wish they'd score every hole and have the pga shot breakdown per hole. Crisp and straight fellas.

That messinger (sp) must be a good little golfer. He's always up there. Don't wish ill but it wouldn't bother me if he made a few more bogeys. Thanks again for the xander post. Kinda wish Clemson would get back into swimming too. Enjoyed watching those two young uva swimmers. Apologies, got cranked up.

Well, good news is Turk finished -10 (2nd) with an ok 69 (-3) today. He had it to -12 thru 10. Then went bogey bogey and didn't make another birdie. So he's in the last group. Got a good shot at it.

Leader is -13 and shot a nice 67 today to come from behind and ###### the lead.


Bryson finished -5 and shot an even par round. 4 birdies, 2 bogeys and a double bogey. He bogeyed the last hole which cost him 11 spots from a t14 to a t25



Side note:
Turks had 3 really good rounds considering he's only -1 for the tournament on the easiest hole (par 5) that's playing at 4.1 strokes for the field. So roughly he's lost 2 strokes to the field on that hole alone. The two 360 yrd par 4's on the back nine are playing well under par for the field. Turk's only -1 on those 6 holes. Bottom line, he could easily be in the lead...
