3rd & Renfrow, we haven’t been the same since we lost Renfrow! We are not close to the team we were when we had Renfrow catching 9 out 10 3rd down conversions when everyone knew it was going to him!
We should be looking for two Renfrow like WR’s so if one got hurt we have another.
Having the best ever college QB in Trevor Lawrence/Deshaun Watson didn’t hurt either!
NOW, let’s go get a Hunter Clone!

I theory sounds great, but finding Hunter Renfro’s is rare. He is so good, quick, and has such a feel for the game. Look at what he is doing in the league.

1. We don't have a generational QB, so the vanilla offense is being exposed
2. Robbie Caldwell is a poor developer of talent. He's been allowed to have mediocre O Lines for far too long.
3. All around offensive complacency. Dabo has hired a bunch of former Clemson players that lack coaching experience to be position coaches, and it shows. What are their qualifications? We've been running the exact same offense for the past 6 years, with nothing done to update or improve it.
4. We don't use the transfer portal. Every other school goes out and gets a guy to patch their roster. We don't because it apparently would "corrupt" Dabo's culture.

Need about 10 forest flatners on the O-line....and try to recruit that way from now on. Also need the kind of running backs for those tough yards in those tough games. Mafah is definitely a start. We need to start getting back to smacking people in the mouth offensively along with being balanced with being very dynamic.

Good call adding Humphries in here - maybe Taylor can do it. Total waste to try to have Ross in there - he is the leaping circus guy not the dig it out of the ground guy where many passes need to be in the slot. We need to get people in the right places and get a Joe Brady type passing coordinator who can vary the route concepts and trees as someone said earlier. Our three plays worked when we had DW4 and TL16 because they could improvise on the fly and make things happen in spite of the system - now the whole world knows what we are doing and we are no longer good enough to not care if they do.
