after I posted. I did not realize this was the issue. I for one was very excited about his commitment and I hope he gets it together soon. He seems to have the potential to be a Danny Ford type of lineman; big, mean and nasty. Our lines were our bread and butter during the '80s, and I often wondered how CJ and others would have done with the a line that had some Bostic types blocking for him.

today's college olinemen. Under Danny Ford we had smaller athletic lineman that blocked well (kind of like what the Denver Broncos had under Mike Shanahan), and they were mean and nasty, but far from being big.

Yup, Bostic was like 6'-2" 240-250lbs when he played here. We have TEs bigger than that now.

Sad, but I think Region is shaping up to be a total bust unless he can get his calorie intake reduced. Hopefully someone in S&C will be able to work with him at the new training table.
