Derek Chauvin was a bad cop who has been convicted of murder. The other 3 officers involved face serious charges as well.
George Floyd had a significant criminal history, icluding violent crime and multiple drug arrests. Floyd was high on Fentynal, a very dangerous drug, when he died.
The OP's point that while Chauvin was wrong, Floyd is not a deserving hero and parading his family around is nothing but political grandstanding, is 100% correct.

I agree with your perspective here. Cops are not out hunting black people and I’m growing tired of the race card being constantly played but...that doesn’t change the fact that a lot of officers abuse their power and get away with it.
