It's been a while since I've posted. I love all things Clemson. But, I have been as frustrated as everyone else while hoping for the best. The continuing comments all season from the coaching staff has been "these are coachable things that we can fix." I have gotten to the point of cringing when I hear this because it rings hollow and seems to have been spoken to placate the unease we all have felt. Today's debacle shows that the issues run deeper than pointing out mistakes in the film room.
I hope Coach Swinney takes a hard, honest look at the results of the last two seasons. Certainly the win count is admirable, but it leaves me with a gnawing feeling of what could have been. Many of the wins were less than satisfactory. They weren't dominant as how an elite program should perform. Our staff appears satisfied with winning with mediocrity. QB play, receiver and o-line play, defensive backfield play, scheming, play-calling, and coaching have rightly been called into question. But a head coach armed with an MBA should recognize, you can't expect your customers to be happy with a flawed product. And what we've been given is a seriously flawed product. Best should be the standard or it's simply another hollow marketing slogan.

Dabo and staff have built something real special at Clemson no doubt and I will always love my Tigers
But !!!!!!
Why doesn't DJ have to wait his turn and try to develop on the sideline like every other
player on the bench in every other sport. I have a nephew who played back-up QB under Bowden for 4 years
and never got to start a game. Hard for us to swallow but that was the reality of it. He was not quite as good as Whitehurst and some others but he was better than DJ by far.DJ is clearly not ready to play at Clemson and it is just hard to believe we have coaches that make millions that don't see it. This situation of barely
winning games by 3-10 points and feeling great about it has been going on since early last year.We have been #### lucky to beat a few teams that we should have beaten by 20 points or more this year.
Our program is so much more advanced and the quality of the recruits are so good that any other team
in the ACC playing us should have to have their best day just to keep it close.
There is Not but so much an offensive lineman can do or a defensive LB can do to change poor offensive performance other than just play hard and try to be happy but it is not fair to the rest of the players
on the Clemson Team and their careers to be labeled this way.
Great coaches figure out a way to give their teams the best chance to win wether it is with motivation
,game plans or making player and game day adjustments.
Dabo you make the big bucks and it is time to make some big Boy decisions about who coaches for Clemson and who plays.
We as fans just want to see our Tigers play clean efficient well coached football understanding that they are not robots and that sometimes players make bad plays . I commend you and the staff for overcoming defensive injuries and getting better every game defensively but because you have one offensive player
out of his league the rest of the offensive players have to wear the scar every week.
Please do the right thing and chance OC and QB
These two unprepared individuals have at least been given a chance and they have clearly proved they
are over their heads for the position
I just want to watch a Clemson Football game again and say "Boy we played well today"
