Beating UGA is an absolute must to get in the playoffs.

Even though it's the first game of the season, I don't see any way this year's committee would overlook a black eye from such a mid level program. Hopefully Dabo has them focused and not looking ahead to the bigger games on our schedule.

I know that you're right bc, "The know It All Hacks" will use any posible reason that they can use to put Clemson down in an attempt to talk our Tigers out of the playoffs. But I absolutely believe that, beat UGA in the opener, our Tigers will win their 3d national championship with Dabo as HC. I really do believe that!!! G O O O O Tigers!!!!
We have always heard that defenses win Championships, and if our O line has improved to be better than last years O line, OUR Tigers will have the Offense, and a Championship defense capable of beating any top team in the country, while looking better than ever in doing it!!!!

UGA will loose to Alabama, Florida, and Clemson.
During the season Clemson may loose a game, happens most years to all teams. Most other teams (Alabama, OHS, Oklahoma) will also loose a game. That is the way it goes most years.
At this point with no games played, TIGERS are by far the Vegas favorite to make the CFP.

Before we can say Clemson can’t lose to Georgia. It’s just premature. If the game comes down to the last second and of course that makes the loss to Georgia not as big of a deal. If Georgia goes undefeated that helps Clemson. If Clemson routes everyone the rest of the season and if North Carolina has a great season and is ranked high and Clemson beats them in the ACC championship that of course helps. Premature to figure this out. You just have to wait and see how things unfold.
