Bearkittens Don’t Belong

This is the problem with a team like Cincinnati being in the playoffs. They are deep enough to hang with a team like Alabama for about a half and that is it.

How about all of the power 5 teams that have gotten killed in the playoffs.

They have not been able to string plays together. They had the ability to win this game. Just dumb mistakes and penalties.

I think they do as they earned their way in above others. Not many have success against Alabama. We already know how UGA fared.

Who else would you put in? The committee says the Irish are 5th and Cincinnati beat them by two scores in South Bend.

I'd say its just Alabama and Saban are that good. Credit Cincinnati's defense for slowing that explosive offense down. In the end, Cincinnati cannot handle the rush and Ridder cant quite make the plays. Almost no one runs on Bama (us included), so real surprise there.

It shows them that they need a rush defense badly. Robinson is over 200 yards rushing as of this posting.
