So a 40 year streak of playing GT will end this year

And the home vs. away ACC slate looks to be in our favor. This schedule sets up for a good regular season record should we play good ball.

but I wish the ACC would dump the tournament and add that weekend to the regular season schedule. Have each team play 6 home and 6 road series, leaving 3 weekends for non-conference series. Then each team would only skip one conference team and not three each year. Under the current system, there's too much intra-conference strength of schedule. For example, Clemson could have a much easier conference schedule than Florida State (or vice versa), which makes comparing the teams very difficult.

Good ACC schedule for us. Better teams at home [Fla. St., Miami, N.C. State] and teams that haven't been so good on the road. Plus zero games against GT, UNC. Maybe we can make some noise in the conference this year.

Hopefully those hot shot freshmen coming in, along with another year of experience for the players coming back, will result in another trip to Omaha.

to play two weekday games at GSU. I always hate it when my two schools play against one another, but its good to see GSU hosting another elite program like Clemson.
