Boyd’s World has updated their RPI needs report. It is now projected that if we finish 6-2 we will finish as a top 8 RPI team. While that isn’t a guarantee of being a national seed, it wouldn’t be that improbable. We would probably be viewed as the hottest team in the country and will have skyrocketed up the rankings.

Nothing you said is right. We do have a legit chance to be a national seed. We’re official ranked 16th with 2 series to go, Coastal Carolina, and an ACCT. I promise you if things go well enough to be close to a national seed, we will be.

A 6-2 regular season finish and then winning the ACC tourney would get us in nat'l seed conversation. Gotta keep winning.

We stay top 16 with 4 more wins. Anything can happen but where we are was totally improbable 6 weeks ago. And I was already satisfied with the clear difference in player attitude and development. Then they started winning too.

Why would we be lucky to host a regional?? This team is on FIREEEE they have won 6 straight ACC series and gone from maybe making the tourny to hosting it. If we win the series at UNC and preform well in the ACC tourny then it all points toward hosting possibly national seed. Im not sure why your so down on this team they have made a great comeback this season. We have gone from unranked to #7 in the country within 3 weeks. Go Tigers!!

We have two series left with a game on Wednesday against Coastal Carolina. Also the ACC Tournament.
I mean it’s going to be hard but possible. Very proud of this team and how they’ve fought and clawed back to even be in the position.
I’m really hoping we continue out strong and we can host a regional but keep on winning and we have a chance at a super.

happy enough. Just making the ACC Tournament, much less the NCAA Tournament, was looking bleak just a few short weeks ago. Let's just keep this turnaround going, and let the chips fall where they may in post season siting.

I think we take two from Vt and win vs coastal. I think we beat upstate and we sweep unc. That’s 6-2 or if we lose to coatal 5-3. I don’t think coastal win or loss will be that big of a deal. Now I wanna win but I think either team won’t drop in rpi. I think finally we get out of pool play and lose in semis. I think we host. But anywhere from a 12-16 range. If we win out or win acct then we could very well sneak in a national seed. This season is for sure been wild and it’s only getting started. Let’s stay hot! Man regionals are fun and rain delays killing time at the esso for them.

Coastal is the number 9 RPI team. It’s the single biggest game for boosting rpi left on our schedule.

Hold on second, They have nothing to do with the coots period!
When I attended 86-89 it was a part of the coots but they cut ties many years ago.
I’m looking for us to sweep them every time but they aren’t coots or even close.

which would be 3 quad 4 losses(quad 4 is 151>) added to our resume so literally they have them as being the top q4 team. How they would drop from 116 to 151 losing 2 out of 3 to #99 Wichita State I have no clue? There is often funny biz going on with the predicted RPI.
