Bama can't hang with Clemson's pace

Jan 2, 2016, 4:25 PM

The Tigers are a whole different level of speed and smoothness that Alabama hasn't seen this year. Deshaun is a difference maker that Bama can't simulate in practice, and Clemson spreads the field to force Bama to cover every inch of grass. The explosiveness of Watson, combined with a solid run game and dynamic air raid will catch Alabama off guard and keep our defense fresh. Clemson brings a whole different level of both offense and defense that Bama has seen nothing even close to this year. I think Clemson matches up extremely well with Bama. Thoughts?

We got off around 90 plays against OU. If we get 75 against Bama... That'd be good

I think you have never watch Bama prepare for a big game. They take this sport as serious as anyone who I have seen. That is not to say that Clemson can not win this game because they certainly can. Both teams will lay on the line I promise you that. Win or lose, this is a great moment for the Tigers. As a fan base, let's put the gamecocks in the closet for a week and spend our time talking real football about the two best teams in college football. Go Dabo!

Agreed.

They don't talk sh*t during game week and they prepare like its a business. Direct reflection of their head coach. They prepare well and seemingly stays focus...with that said, they are built a certain to stop a certain style and they are absolutely 100% beatable.

OM got lucky with a couple of short fields off turnovers and a freak reception for TD. They contained Henry, but make no mistake, Coker can sling it when he has to and can scramble too. Very surprised with their passing game and his runs, which they rarely have to call on.

That said, I think Mack and Tank limit them, our Dline stuffs Henry, who is a lumbering giant with no burst whatsoever, and the game falls on our linebacker and safety play. If we can stop them from exploiting the middle they have nothing. I think we can do it.

Their D is solid but Kelly and their little running back got some yards when it mattered. And Watson and Gallman are WAY better than those guys.

Not sure of the score but barring crazy fumbles or freak plays, we are the better team and we win.

Bama's gonna be tough. We match up well with them though. Their QB is big, luckily not very mobile. The key will be limiting Bama's run game & making them beat us through the air.

Our offense will score, but not at ease. It's gonna be a blood bath...

Clemson 24
Bama 17
