Attendance in Syracuse

The Syracusefan.com football board has a thread speculating on the attendance for the Clemson game. No predictions of a sellout.

We haven’t sold out a game in 20 years. We only had 37k for you last time. That’s 13k short of a sellout. We will have 40k sat. Night.

the game was very close to a sellout.

The announced attendance was 48,961 and I believe capacity is 49,260

In fact, this was and remains the largest crowd to attend a Syracuse football game at the Carrier Dome since 2000.

Yup. I forgot about 2013. 2 years ago was the 37k. I'm hearing around 40k for Friday night.
