If he's really 6-3 and can play CB, he would be an amazing pick up. Then, Clemson would be taller on both sides of the ball than opponents.

Corner backs are a pretty prideful group. Getting them to wear pancakes on their heads isn't going to be easy.

Hope he gets to visit again before making a decision***

I don't get the "Prima Donna" sense that is present with some kids these days.

The CB position is full of prima donnas in college and pro football......it goes with the position. They're on an island with everyone watching how and if they can defend against a top WR. They have to believe in themselves in order to accept that challenge over and over - even after getting beat unmercifully. It's a terribly difficult position to play well consistently and part of the "schtick" is talking trash to try and intimidate others. It's not far from that attitude to enjoying the fact that teams are falling all over themselves to get the guy's attention and signature as a commitment.

The ones that are good are chased hard by teams - much like a pretty girl who knows she's hot and likes the attention. That's not the kind that appeal to me, but different strokes for different folks.

If he continues with that enjoyment of self-aggrandizement, he may find himself erased from Clemson's recruiting board. We accept a little bit of that attitude, but not too much. If the attitude is too strong, the coaches won't be able to change it once the player is on campus and it becomes a cancer in the team's character.
