He’s such a great guy…

Time and time again I have heard from people that defend the basketball coach. However, when do you finally say what’s best for Clemson basketball?

I am not a dedicated follower for college basketball but when you hear the typical pattern in basketball (gave up a double digit lead to lose, or lost by a basket or two.) You can’t help to look into the matter.

The difference between our football coach and basketball is talent and recruiting. Swinney is able to sell the Clemson brand, the atmosphere the southern good ole-boy die-hard coaching. Brad on the other hand isn’t able to sell the school to recruits. He lacks the passion and the fire that Dabo has. In retrospect he lacks energy and enthusiasm. At times he makes questionable defensive calls. More ‘X-O’ kind of guy in the paint. Dabo when there is a problem corrects the issue in the offseason. Brad has had ten years to correct a pattern of losing close games and blowing huge leads.

He’s a good guy, he doing his best, this is something you say to a bag boy at the grocery store. Not someone that makes a over half a million dollars and many stipends to boot.

Yeah, with mostly Danny's players. He could have beat GT in '90 by kicking easy
FGs and not asking Gordocki to try and make a 60 yarder at the end of the game.
