Saying, his D’s year in & year out have been priceless to say the least. None consistently better than Coach Venables imo.

I agree LBB. Especially after reading this. Most probably scoff at this but no joke, this is clearly how the big Oklahoma donors feel. They want CBV bad. Let's hope they choose option 4.

Look. When you're making millions a year, your house is paid off, your kids are grown and almost out of college, how many more millions do you need to find happiness.
No, this decision would not be about money. It would be about prestige and the challenge. It would be the chance to be the "head guy" and to lead a team, build the culture, set the agenda, determine the strategy.
It wouldn't be about money. That's just the trimming on the tree.

Pay the assistants for how their teams perform. BV + 1 mil raise and 1 mil of TE’s. TE minus 1 mil. O-Line, WR and QB coach, they owe Clemson, one will retire, hire replacements for the other two.
