there are many moments that were truly unbelievable to me, but the most upsetting was the foolish call on Boulware at the end of the terrific game with Notre Dame. After a game such as that can you believe an official would call a penalty on him for the flip that he did? I sometimes wonder if the guys in stripes ever played a real game.
Can you think of a more uncalled for penalty than that?

From last year - yes, very easily. The phantom holding call on K'von Wallace at the end of the Pitt game. He. Did. Not. Touch. The. Offensive. Player. Without that conversion, Pitt loses.
Close second - the personal foul called on Boulware that led to the prior Pitt touchdown. Without that conversion, Pitt loses.

They should called everybody that makes a player flip over in the air when being tackled while the receiver is in the air making a catch. That is an intention to cause injury that is no different than the sue-flex tackle that Ben done. Yes I truly believe that there are some refs that hate us and will make up rules or see phantom calls just so he can brag to his friends that hate Clemson also!!!
