Got tip the hats to the boys, they fought their a-double-s off to dig out of a hole & have a chance to win.
However, the pitching rotation change will be 2nd guessed 8 ways from Sunday. Dill should've got yanked after the GS, & given how Hoffman performed when he came in, the pitching should've been left alone. Same with leaving Ammons in to start the 10th, & definitely letting him stay after surrendering a base runner. Feels like 1 of those situations that once something is screwed up, anything done trying to fix it just makes it worse, & that decision by ML played out that way.
Unfortunately I feel that Wake is gonna win tomorrow. Having to play your way out of such a hole only to come up short has to take alot out of players emotionally & mentally. & given how this season has played out, I feel like the gas tank is gonna be empty for those boys tomorrow b/c how today played out. I hope to be wrong, but this team & coaching staff are just up against it & can't buy a break.

have it. Another series loss most likely coming today. No consistency or ability to do the little things to be good. Can beat anyone on a given day, but cant sustain anything.
