....When will Dabo make a statement?
I am sure it will be a calming, reassuring statement in which he congratulates BV, thanks him for his outstanding job here and also saying that there is no need to panic, Clemson will be fine, there is a plan in place, etc.
But, I still want to hear the words come out of his mouth. I want to hear exactly what he says, not just my generalization of what I think he will say.

BV hasn’t officially announced. And it’s 9 pm there. Got a feeling he’s classy enough to let BV have his moment and make the announcement before he comments.

I think he will have a statement almost immediately after BV is officially announced at OU. If that happens tonight it may be tomorrow morning but he doesn’t need to wait until he can name the new coordinator to make a statement. If he has already made a decision he may reveal it or he may say he will immediately start on a search for a replacement.

I think your generalization is spot on. Not much more he can say. I trust Dabo to make the difficult decisions in the coming days/weeks.

He will wait for the official announcement, which is only right. Since it’s getting pretty late he may wait until in the morning. I want to hear what he says too. Will be interesting to see how long it takes him to name a successor. I feel confident he has a plan.

statement after Brent is officially introduced in Oklahoma - I imagine sometime tomorrow afternoon. Until then the Clemson natives will be restless and ready to stab anything that pops up on twitter. I just hope that once Dabo makes a statement he will provide some indication of the direction he is going for the next DC - in house our outside search.

An assistant coach took a higher paying job. It happens all the time and its all that happened here. People are acting like Dabo has to find a way to break the news to the fanbase they've been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
