i’m gonna go with 6 games. With no admission of guilt or court decision, i think it’s hard to discipline on anything other than “how dare you make us look bad”
He may get a harsher punishment if his final civil cases go south.

shenanigans, whatever they in fact were. The NFL is looking to make a Cancel Culture cultivating Statement with him. I believe the initial will be a year. I also believe the NFLPA MAY get it down to 8 games. That would STILL be the most significant suspension of a player, when you add in the year that Watson ALREADY spent in limbo.
The fact that an NFL team, the Texans, has now also been sued, may actually help Watson.

can't disagree
the nfl itself has proven to have such poor ethics itself they have had to agree previously of an independent council to adjudicate things.
while it doesn't "matter" - what was the penalty of an owner Kraft to participate in the same activity ? Snyder stuff. An EX-Coach has an active Lawsuit against the NFL who really buggered the email scandal.
no one has a clean pedestal to dance around on.

One thing that he has going for him is that when he came to the league he displayed a high level of character and selflessness. I think the entire country was blindsided by these allegations. Not saying one way or the other but from an employer disciplinary standpoint i feel like a smaller punishment awaits. Even though they have recommended a year, they may in fact make that year retroactive.

I don't understand what is wrong because the government, the new supreme court justice, nor college professors can or will define what a woman is. If his escapades had been with transwomen, he would be in prison now.
