Based on my experience in the first four games of this season, if anything is under review then Clemson is about to be called for targeting and lose a player and have a 15 yard penalty.

If TE is involved then it must have been an offensive player called for targeting.

Offensive players called for targeting typically happens on a turnover play where the offensive player is trying to make a tackle.

What I am deducing is that we already have a turnover and are about to have a player ejected from this game and it doesn't even kickoff until tomorrow night.

This is not how I wanted to start my Friday.....

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Coach Hat

Don't forget that for Coach Hat's final encore he moved DB Dexter McCleon to QB after 1 week of practice to defeat the Coots in Columbia. Certainly, the lowest effort and worst recruiter of any HC in recent memory at Clemson. But, give him a handful of 2 star players with a couple decent players and he would shuffle them around and find a way to score a few points. I think that last hurrah was a variation of his Flexbone. Point being that it does not take years to make changes. We are in week 5 with no changes and a declining level of results. Obviously, we are not "so close" to breaking wide open as professed by many after the Ga Tech debacle. Looking for those changes that can be implemented with multiple 4 star players standing on the sideline with a helmet in their hand. Anyone realize that Mitchell Mayes was the #2 tackle in the nation at signing time per ESPN? Another miss? Not ready? He's a sophomore. Looking for some glimmer of improvement. Go Tigers

What "changes" would you recommend?

We have every play in our playbook, and that playbook has been perhaps the most consistent and explosive in the country from 2015.

There is no scheme to be had when the OL isn't blocking and the QB can't shake the ghosts in his head.

The scheme and playcalling will work just fine once the QB gets his head on straight. We saw glimpses of it in two really nice drives last week as well as a nice score in OT.

DJ completed 67% of his 117 passes last year for 914 yards, 5 TDs and 0 INTs. This year he's completing 56% of his 112 passes for 3 TDs and 3 INTs.

Same QB, same scheme. What's changed? The mental state of the QB.

I always wanted to see Paul Johnson play Mike Leach. Turn up the volume.

Geville Tiger on Clemson football , "Dabo's only problem is he has to deal with turd fans questioning every move he makes.”

I expect very little change.

Good grief. Does anybody see DG, who has enough footwork issues, running a wishbone?
