Are there any true stories in FITS news?

3 stories from FITS news made it into the Jounge in the past 12 years:
1. Accusations of Nikki Haley having an affair that came to life during her run for Governor and if I remember correctly the writer for FITS news said he'd hit it a few times while she was married. Did anything ever come of this? It was never picked up by any media that you could trust somewhat.
2. Stories about how the University of SC bought this new PeopleSoft Student Information system for millions of dollars where kickbacks were given to employees and how the system wasn't functional and that the whole university had to revert back to doing everything manually with paper (I found this particularly interesting and funny, hoping it was true as this is the business I'm in). This was never picked up by any other media.
3. Just a few years ago, they had stories about sexual escapades of the women at Thornblade CC in Greenville sleeping with teenage boys etc. Did any other media ever pick this up?

But I know a lot of parents at Eastside, Christ Church, Mann, etc. were way too eager to host drunken high school parties at their houses, where all sorts of shenanigans was allowed to occur.
My sister also got iced out of the varsity cheerleading squad because my parents wouldn't let her have a spend the night at her male coaches house. That same coach actually tried to fight my dad at an event lol.

My wife is from that Eastside community. She and some old high school friends know some of the families involved.
That same coach actually tried to fight my dad at an event lol.
Kinda feel like I can guess who that might be.

husband and wife little coaching team. I think they were fairly heavily involved in the competition cheerleading scene, as well. I want to say the school eventually had to cut ties with them due to causing so many issues with parents.
I don't ever recall seeing specific names, but I bet I at least know of some of the people implicated.

That was a real mess. I knew some of the people involved peripherally and they confirmed everything I read about it and more. But I don't recall FITS ever reporting on it, did he?

They have gotten more wrong way more than they've gotten it right, so they deservedly shouldn't get much attention.
1. While I highly doubt the author was honest, there's something there on the Haley thing. Some reporters at the State knew something was up right before she became governor. They said her husband didn't spend very much time at home, and that changed after the election. But not a story they would pursue (Sanford's was different as he meshed business and pleasure).
2. Don't know.
3. I don't know what they wrote but they were on to something there.
