Tony Elliot's "genius" was being a Co-OC/OC when we had generational talent at QB/RB. Now that we do not, his inability to adapt to our QB's strengths has become one of our biggest weaknesses.

There is no QB strengths right now, That is on Dabo, because he loves these kids so much that he hangs on to long before he has to make a change. DJ to me appears to have what the golfers call yips he is pumping the ball to much and in turn his mechanics get out of wack. He also is not improvising when things break down. I think he is smart but panics under pressure . I have three grown children and all were different, one handle pressure real well and the other too would get frazzled. I just think unless DJ overcomes that he will not improve. Sometimes no matter what you say or practice the person cannot get out of his/her own way.

They are basically saying the same thing (in a nicer way)

that most on here have said: Clemson's offensive scheme is stale and predictable that in past years was overcome by exceptional talent. This year we have a struggling offensive line and don't have an exceptional play maker(s) on offense to make up for an offensive scheme and play calling that has failed to adapt to the abilities of the current team.

And that sums it up pretty much perfectly. Great

coordinators are the ones who prove themselves when they don't have the best talent. Look at BV. No matter who he's lost and who he has, he seems to come up with a scheme that gets the best out of his players.

Considering he had or has 2 sons on the team, I’m sure he knows more than most the non-creativity / in ability to adjust according to what you got to work with.

To me, it’s not even how we’ve missed on some guys, it’s the fact that TE can’t do what 96% of every other offensive coordinator in the country has to do. And that’s put together a average offense when their isn’t 1st round talent on the field . Just average, I think we’d all settle for average and not a offense and QB ranked 100+ in every category

This has been a problem for a while even when the great Jeff Scott was here they should have hit the reset button a long time ago this offense has ran it's course. The off season will be very telling. Keep TE send the entire offensive staff to a top notch team to get new schemes or move on. No way can u settle for this it will kill recruiting and we need a Travis Etienne in the back field
