For him I don’t think it’s about the money. He knows his last name speaks for itself and he can get whatever wherever he is. What he needs is a good cast around him. That included a great QB coach and O-coordinator. If memory also serves the family is very private. I doubt 247 really has that much info.

Exactly. That won't even enter into the discussion. I doubt he'll go to ole miss, especially with lebby at OK. UGA may have a good chance. 247 is just guessing like everyone else. Don't have to be a genius to see SEC is where he'll land. Which he knows with Texas, he'd have a junior year in the SEC.
I'm with you though, it's 1, the QB coach, and 2, the oc. Then factor in the head coach. If I had to wager, it's Bama... I'd say Saban getting older may factor some but he could always transfer.

What does money have to do with it. With Cade coming In this year why would arch want to come? He is going to be a starter wherever he goes as a freshman. I don’t think he would start here. It’s kind of a good problem. We should go after the number 1 player in 2024. He is a qb from South Carolina but just transferred to a school in Charlotte.

Anyone who had anything to do with a passing attack is leaving UGA as quick as they can. J.T. Daniels will end up in the SEC west or Neutered Dames and the leading WR from their national championship team just left for Bama. I confess the idea of having a Heisman QB throwing the ball would be a bigger draw than Stetson "Screech" Bennett handing it off. Smart will have a hard time getting QBs and WRs to stay if he doesn't flex.

If it comes down to NIL money we are out, but at one point his Mother really liked us so that is a plus. The other thing that may hurt us is how our offense played last year. The good news is if there is no interest, better to know now, so we can move on to other QB's.

Your screenshot only shows the top 5 schools ordered by who they consider to be warm first, and then alphabetical. Clemson comes behind BC alphabetically, which isn’t something they know in Columbia, and if you hit expand list Clemson is the next school shown. He may or may not come to Clemson, but nothing’s changed recently.

I would say IF he doesn’t come here it would be more because he figures we have a solid potential 3+ year starter in front of him. He’s potentially gonna start as a freshman somewhere and a good chance it wouldn’t be here. If he does come here, would be a heck of a QB battle. The dudes whole family is made up of NFL QBs - I doubt he even cares if there is a QB coach on staff

Maybe 247 has the inside scoop, but I'm guessing that they know many college FB fans are all goo goo about any Manning QB.
Headlines with Arch Manning are click bait. Really good for their business (and fun to read), but that doesn't mean we should hyperventilate.
If I were Arch Manning (which last time I looked in the mirror I can say I'm not), I'd rather not go to a school which has a likely star incumbent QB who is only 1 class ahead that might be as good ... or better ... than Arch Manning.

I too think that Arch will go to a SEC school and one where they don’t have a successful QB. Also I don’t think that 247 knows no more where he is going no more than any of us do. Like Pig said, I hope he does what is best for him and his family and if that isn’t The Tigers, I wish him the best of luck. (As long as it isn’t Georgia and the Coots)
