Anyone Out There...

Still have hope for our baseball team? Massive series against Louisville starting today. I think its a must the boys take at least 2 out of 3. They dug a hole they need to get out of, but they are playing really good ball now. Need to get to .500 in conference (maybe 1 game below will be ok) to be considered for post season play IMO.
I said it from the beginning of the season I believe this team is a Super Regional caliber team... just got to have a chance.
Hope there are more people still watching than have given up.
Go Tigers

Go Tigers! My belief is they can get to 15 - 14 in the ACC if the pitching can step up the next 4 weekends.

Don’t you just love people with a “can’t do” attitude.

Yeah I hope I’m wrong and others but at least we are truthful and honest. Why blow smoke up someone’s behind when they ain’t it?

Man I try to catch most games and always have the feeling that the next game will be there breakout game. Strange you just never know what to expect pitching or hitting. May score 3 runs or 15. Enjoy the ride and never give up even when it’s frustrating at times. No predictions on post season but we would need to catch fire in a big way.

I’m very hopeful. Very streaky team.

have gone silent. Grice seems to want to ventilate the stadium with every swing today. And...just took call strike three after several "home run only" cuts.

I have watched them all year too... and this team is not consistent enough for post season.

With just a few exceptions we win against poor teams and lose to above average and good teams.

Guys, it’s not complicated. The Tiger lineup are fastball hitters with the exception of Ingle. Wright and Wagner came in hot and are seeing the ball well. The rest have little chance against any ACC pitching that can get ahead on the count with breaking balls and changeups. Tonight was another example of what we’ve seen for 3 seasons now. The game was lost when Anglin struggled early and infield made errors.
