Any y'all familiar with Peak SC?

We thinking about leaving a truck here overnight for a Broad River trip. Planning to launch kayaks at the Palmetto trail in Peak at the bridge. Then we gone fish about 10 miles down river. Camp on an island, fish in the morning and scoot out with trolling motors (10 more miles) to take out at I-20 Golf Course. Pretty cool, huh?

A buddy of mine named Ray used to run a card game out of Peak. This was back when WSOP was big on ESPN. His girlfriend was a pharmaceutical sales rep with an incredible rack. We used to have her hand out poker chips to all the doctors she called on with the address, date and time of the next game printed on them.
We were totally convinced that we were going to win tens of thousands of dollars off these douchebags. Turns out doctors are actually pretty smart dudes. Ray and I got our ##### handed to us three times in a row. Ray’s girl dumped him because she was embarrassed and he had to sell his house to cover our losses. He ended up having to move to Florida to get a job selling gold to old folks. I miss Ray.
