Everything I have found is at least $500 round trip which seems insane.

I have looked at Greenville, Atlanta, Charlotte, Augusta. Live in upstate so any airport within a 3 hour drive would be nice.

I found a flight on Allegiant from GSP to Orlando for $290. You would need to get a car obviously, or hook up with some of the Orlando Clemson Club people for a ride.

IT IS 11 HOUR DRIVE FROM THE UPSTATE. YOU GONNA DRIVE 3 HOURS JUST TO STAND AROUND IN AN AIRPORT FOR GOD KNOWS HOW LONG RATHER THAN DRIVE. LOTS OF YOU GOT MORE MONEY THAN SENSE.

Honestly, all things considered, that's not even that bad man. It's $642 on JetBlue out of NYC!
You have to realize too that South Florida is one of the biggest NYE tourist destinations in the world. That's what drives the prices up so high at this time of year.

Usually you can find a round trip ticket from SC to south florida for $200 max. $500 isn't terrible but I have to buy 2

Absolutely man.
For me to book 12/30 - 1/3 is $642
One week later (1/6 - 1/10), same flight: $147
Economics 101. Sucks.

Roundtrip flights from Atlanta to West Palm Beach starting at $288
Some of the flight times suck but the rates are reasonable.
