2 questions about GT game

1. I noticed Townsend was on the sideline in only his jersey and some shorts. No pads. Did I miss or forget something? Is he injured, being disciplined, or what?

2. DJ Howard has not been getting many carries this season. Is it official that McDowell passed him in the depth chart? Not complaining, because McDowell has a 5.1 ypc average, but just curious.
