The ACC pumps the attendance numbers at Durham but I see...

a 20% full stadium with the biggest team in the state (from 20 minutes down the road) playing one of the best teams in College Baseball. And we are making this the home for the ACC Championship for the next 4 years...Am I missing something?

their numbers come from tickets sold. Lots of companies buy books of tickets,,,if they are not used, ACC does not care.


We pretty much do the same thing at Clemson.....numbers based on tickets sold

Still based on tickets sold... We used to look at that number when I worked in the box office for a team.

How have the other venues drawn compared to that?

Outside of Omaha, Greenville had best postseason attendance

than any other tournament. ACC in their infinite wisdom determined that Greenville was an unfair advantage to Clemson and moved it. Amazing how I didn't know Greensboro was so neutral for the basketball tournament.
