The article was based on facts and quotes. It was very fair in pointing out the areas Clemson has struggled.

Incredible that the staff is so turned off to the transfer portal. The coaches have focused on the lack of experience at the position for the last 2 years. The transfer portal fixes that issue.

We have no diversity at WR. The transfer portal fixes that issue.

Dabo mentioned the lack of depth at DT during camp. He knew this was a problem. We lose Bresee and Tyler Davis for the year. And now the problem is exacerbated. The transfer portal would have fixed it.

This is simply a failure by our coaching staff to adapt to the new changes in college football. Dabo believed that he was above the transfer portal. He believed that he could win without it. He was wrong. Hopefully he changes his stance. Step one was putting Pearman in that position. Step two is to finally bring in impactful transfers. There isn't a P5 team on our schedule that doesn't have multiple impact transfer players in their two deep. We lost to LSU and Ohio State in the playoffs, two teams with transfer QBs. Alabama and Georgia have multiple starters from the portal.

The time to change was three years ago. The longer we wait, the further we fall.
