A complete overhaul of the baseball team

I know most of us wanted Monte gone by the end, and most of us gave him a good chance and threw our support behind him in the beginning. But did y’all ever imagine the events that are unfolding over the last two months taking place?
Man talk about transforming a program….the results are a ways off but you can bet your bottom dollar if they don’t meet the expectations, change will come again.

when does the history became the norm.
Clemson basketball has been historically poor. They have had a few periods of success but these get ignored due to results from 1945.
supposedly Clemson expectations in baseball are higher than basketball due to history. If the next 4 coaches in baseball maintain the same level of success as Lee.. does that become the norm and they stick around longer?

Agreed! Should have took the same measures for our basketball team, not saying I don’t fully support Brad because he’s our coach so until he’s gone I’ll always support him but if we expected more in basketball we would get more with our actions

my feelings on that are that Neff and Brownell have a great close friendship and working relationship. An extra year for Brownell was more of a personal courtesy rather than a professional one. The professional decision on the basketball program is looming and barring some super random extraordinary year of success, I feel like we might see some of the same rebuilding blueprint we see now with baseball.

Tigers are below “See Level” and new blood needs to be found on the outside. Losing Ricky Williams is going to hurt more than the others. At least the portal is still open for baseball and there is time to sign guys for next year.

I agree with you 100% with Bakich...pitching coach ....the roster will undoubtably change...even Graham Neff as the AD I feel is an incredible hire..
