I remember ESPN marketing that with USC in 05-06'... that was a pie in the face. They crowned USC as a 'best ever' before even playing and losing to Texas in the title game that year.
Get ready for this talk over the next few dead weeks of football.

Talk before this season. While we are good, the hype is hard to live up to. I hope they talk Alabama up like never before. It cannot be helpful to them.

games. They just wear teams down. I think the Tigers match up with Bama the best, but not well. If it is Bama, Clemson, Washington, Penn State/Ohio State, it's a longshot that Bama doesn't win it all. I really don't see anyone beating Bama unless Watson carries us and we do. Either way, I will pulling against Bama in both of their games. It's hard not respect that team right now though. Like you, I think they deserve the hype they get.

Like it or not Bama is in a league by themselves.
We can beat them I think but they are the cream of the crop.

I think we match up against bama better than anyone but like someone said they wear teams down and then beat them badly. The lsu game and the first half yesterday gives me hope. I was not impressed with their Offense. On the other hand their D looks very good but we do have a great offense. I for some reason like playing UA better than Osu.

Well, to be the man, you have to beat the man....to quote Ric Flair. Back in the beauty contest days (pre playoffs) we would see AL and OSU in the finals. Not anymore. If you want to win this championship, the path goes to AL. At least you have to chance to prove it on the field. Hard to compete with 5 star athletes littering their benches, but they can be beat, but it certainly won't be easy.

Let me talk. If Bama wins it all it holds its water!! If not then clearly they are not the best team ever! GreAt regular season does not mean a nc. The best way to shut up the talking heads is to crush the belief of their god that is Alabama and the sec!!
