In 1934 those holes were 2,3 and 4 ...... and only a few years later Perry Maxwell redesigned all of the greens. You are right ....... a lot of changes.

Amen Corner is simply amazing. I have always said that if I could play just one hole, #13 from the members tees and make par, well that would be heaven for me. It's not the hardest par 5 in the world, not even the hardest on the course, but it has a simple beauty just with the way the hole is shaped.

Prolly be >500 next year on Tuesday. Just a guess.

I remember 30 years ago, I could take a day off from work on Wednesday, drive over to Augusta National with a $20 bill in my pocket, by a sticker at the gate, and just walk in. Spend all day, see the Par-3 Contest, and eat a chicken salad sandwich. My how times have changed.

I would recommend signing up for the ticket lottery. You may get drawn for tickets that cost face value.
