I don't shop at whole foods and I dont shop with Amazon. Is the entertainment content any good and do you recommend? I am thinking about ordering for the NFL game tonight, but wondering if it good outside of that. What do you people that have it or had it think?

Content is dookie. But they do have a good one on occasion such as The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
LOR is unwatchable. The new League of their Own is awful. Most of it truly is preachy and unwatchable.

Really? I watched the new Lord Of The Rings thing expecting it to be crap but actually loved it. Can’t wait for more.

Watch the Last Kingdom on Netflix, that is a pretty series, so is Godless, if you like western type movies!!!

Just watched the first episode tonight and my daughter and I both gave it a TU. Much more true to the feel of the novels than the movies were.

It got to the point where it was so unbelievable, with Reacher being involved in a killing every episode but he was never held in jail.
I watched the entire series but had a hard time following towards the end.

The Amazon original shows are hit or miss. Reacher and Jack Ryan were pretty good. They also rotate a bunch of third-party content through every month. They had all the James Bond movies last month and I watched a bunch of those. Here's a list of all the stuff they added this month:

their Prime Video to be a nice additional perk. I especially enjoyed watching "The Expanse" which I highly recommend if you like well done, thoughtful science fiction.

"Reacher" on Amazon is so much better and true to the books than the Tom Cruise movies, the Amazon Reacher looks like Jack Reacher is supposed to look, a large Neanderthal!
"Bosch" is as good as any cop show around.
"The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" is also quirky good.
I've been a Prime member for years, it is obviously worth it to me. Everybody has their own reasons to like or dislike it. The NFL football is just a free "perk" to me. Although, if I know Capitalism, they will break it out in a season or two into a separate pay package.

series to have come out in quite some time. Give it 4 episodes (the 4th episode is one of my favorites of the whole series) and you'll be hooked.

Agree. Bosch is excellent. I also recommend Goliath. Billy Bob Thornton plays a washed-up drunk lawyer. There are 4 seasons.

I forgot about The Boys. It was pretty gory in spots, and funny as hell, but I thought it was great. I saw where season 4 was to start filming near the end of August.

but we buy tons of stuff on Amazon and do Whole Foods grocery delivery at least once a week. The membership easily pays for itself.
The Amazon Visa card gives great cash back too. Highly recommend it for people who buy a lot on Amazon.
As for content, I can’t tell you the last time I watched something on Prime Video.

Bra. Let me tell you. Imo Amazon prime offers competitive prices for basic goods like rice, canned vegetables, snacks etc. In these days and times, this is a good thing and a detail of my experience. What I also love is the quick shipment time.

absolutely. Sick and tired of these independently owned stores who think they can exist in 2022. Let’s be honest, we’ll all wait 24-48 hours for a product if we save $1.78. However the best part is the moaning and crying folks will do over Amazon and their wokeness, but still save that $1.78

We shop with amazon. Amazon video is tricky. Not everything on there is free. Unlike netflix. There is also an amazon music app which we use for dinner parties. I also found some interesting music podcasts i downloaded and can listen whenever i want.

My deal with Amazon is I’m not sure where or what store my product is coming from. May not matter to a lot of folks but when I buy something I want to know who I’m dealing with.
To each their own. Just not my deal. My wife has it is the only reason I am able to watch the game.
Picture quality is horrible though.
