the FCS team didn't have a chance. And they got beat. I wouldn't want a coach who thought that his team didn't have a chance. Good for Furman's coach. As long as they're on the field, they have a chance. But like he said, we'd have to make a lot of mistakes and they'd have to play almost perfect, but it's happened before and it will happen again. It just better not happen to Clemson!

And that was with a DW4. Had to recover an onside kick to win by 6. True it wouldn't be a 30-24 game but I could see this being a 13-6 game in 4th qtr.
Ga Tech was a fingertip away from Monday's game being 17-17 heading to 4th qtr. It can happen.

I love it.
But to answer the question, no ga tech and Furman are not equal. Just saying, nothing is a given. 5 day turnaround, heavy rain possible, a couple bad snaps, a couple receivers take their eye off the ball etc etc.
That said, if we have to, we can line up and impose our will and probably never have to throw a pass. I'll even venture and say that might be what the first drive is. On top of that, it's like @MyFavOrange et al said - is the guy supposed to say we know we don't have a chance?

Of course we don't but we are going to enjoy the time. Fun for our son to play in Death Valley after being there all these years. I sure am enjoying the full scholarship he got to Furman University.
