I’ve seen people yelling at him, but still looking for the attack video.
Did anybody hit him?
Any rubber bullets to the face?
Any laser beams in his eyes?
Tasers?
Batons?
Tackled?
Appears he inflated the threat. I’ve seen more assault outside a planned parenthood facility.

I think all those protesters are fools and wasting their time. Also hate all the looters/rioters destroying property. At the same time, I don’t feel sorry for Rand Paul one bit.

I'm saying that posting a 30 second to a minute video, which is only a sampling of the actual event in complete context, when someone is "pre-cocked" to interpret it as "much adieu about nothing" is a waste of time.
It is amazing at how adept we have become at developing a comprehensive summary from sound bites.

few moments was entirely outrageous - if that level of contact and aggression had occurred in a home as perpetrated by a man to his spouse, then that man would be jailed and facing A&B charges.
I'm not concerned about political points. I don't work that way. I'm not concerned by "desired results" either. This is purely about the level of aggression and intimidation that was perpetrated.
These people are not above the Law.
Had I been in his position and been armed, I would have fired one round into the air as a warning. One round. After that, the idiots would have been on their own.
These idiots believe they aren't breaking the law. They believe the 1st amendment protects them even as they burn buildings and physically advance on Police. At some point, Absolute Stupidity is no longer an excuse. We've reached that point and then some.

OP will view any video put up with the preconception that it's no big deal.
So why even put up the video?

TIgerDave, who apparently has had a complete mental breakdown rendering him incapable of ignoring Political predisposition in favor of actually holding people accountable for their actions.
If people keep putting race an apolitical affiliation in front of legitimate analysis of Law, then the shooting is only going to increase. And since it is the Left that is consistently the one who is being the Aggressor, then likely it's going to be them that gets shot.

In my conversation in the thread, I was referring to your OP looking for the video of the "attacks." With the quotes on "attack" and other contextual clues, I assumed you were downplaying the incident. If you were not, I offer sincere apologies.
I believe several videos are easy to find. Carlsbad covered several of things that might make someone reasonably feel threatened or have fear.

Saw videos where he felt threatened. Didn’t see videos where he was physically assaulted. Was thinking there were other videos out there that I missed.
You are correct that I’m downplaying his ‘literal saving our lives’ tweet. That seems overblown based on what I’ve seen so far. Willing to change my mind.
I’m as guilty as others of seeing videos from our own viewpoint. I was expecting far worse based on the violence I’ve seen other idiotic rioters in other cities.
