Justifiable lethal force

Michael Brown, Ashli Babbitt, and Lavoy Finicum. All 3 were put down with lethal force by law enforcement. I've noticed that Trumpkins overwhelmingly believe that lethal force was justifiable in the Michael Brown case, but that the cops should be tried for murder with Lavoy Finicum and Ashli Babbitt. What is the difference in these cases to make lethal force ok for 1 but not the other 2?

The fatal shot in the Michael Brown case was not done while he was grabbing for the gun. He was some distance away. He, like Babbitt, was unarmed.

How did the Cop know Babbitt was unarmed? She did have a backpack that was not checked prior to her trespassing to get into the capital, much less trying to breach a barricade setup by law enforcement. 147 officers needed medical treatment from the Captial riot, and one died, so how can you say with a straight face that this officer had no reason to fear for his safety or the people that is was his job to protect.
Brown was not fatally shot while grabbing for the gun. Read the report.

Not sure exactly what folks believe about this, or exactly what they are claiming - it's hard to tell, but here are the facts, from the DOJ report linked above.
Michael Brown was SHOT WHILE GRABBING FOR OFFICER WILSON'S GUN through the window of the SUV, but it was a minor injury to Brown's thumb, and was not fatal.
Michael Brown was NOT SHOT AND KILLED WHILE GRABBING THE GUN, but rather a few seconds/mimutes later, while Micheal Brown was "charging" toward officer Wilson, ignoring his commands to stop.

If a mob breeches security and storms a courthouse or police station, then yes, start shooting as far as I'm concerned. Rand Paul and Lindsey Graham, and any ordinary citizen has the same right to protection from assault while in public. If "Hey you guys, cut it out" works, then great. It's not always reasonable or possible to start there and go through a 6-step progression before using deadly force, however.

That is one way to describe it. Another is Michael Brown was killed after physically assulting a police officer and trying take his service weapon. Brown was shot and injured during the struggle and retreated. The officer pursued him, at which time Brown, began to approach the officer. Brown refused continued commands to stop and was killed.
I'm curious, do you agree with Obama's DOJ that this was a justified shooting? If not, why?

I think that all 3 were justifiable shooing. In all three cases, the victims were failing to comply AND the officers had legitimate reason to fear for their safety.

Your argument was that Brown was justified and Babbitt was not because Brown was fatally shot while grabbing a gun. Well, that's been proved false, so we are still waiting for the reason why Brown was justified and Babbitt was "murdered". Both were unarmed, both were committing crimes, and both were approaching targets with the a perceived intent to harm. Of course one was MAGA and the other was not. That seems to be the biggest difference.

The cop was standing there pointing a gun at the door ready to shoot anyone that got through. Plain as day. She chose to try to get through anyways. No surprise she got shot.

She could have been one of the ones let in the building, I have no idea. That cop wasn’t letting anyone through that door she tried to jump through though, he was standing there with a gun pointed right at it. She chose to try to go through anyway. Was it justified? The investigation said so, and someone with more legal experience than me can answer that. But it sure was stupid to try to go through a door being guarded by a guy with his gun drawn. No surprise the outcome was what it was.
