It's something that bothers the heck out of me as well. They chant "SEC, SEC" when they have contributed NOTHING to the conference's image. They have one conference championship (ACC) and one division title which allowed them to get taken to the woodshed by Scam Newton and company. They try to use, "we play in a real conference and y'all play in a cupcake conference" but forget that they are only recently added to that mixture. Until they are legitimate, year in and year out contenders adding, not taking away, from the conference's image, they have no right to celebrate their conference. They are so quick to forget the past but hopefully this is the year when we remind them how it's been and how it should be.
