Alabama under Saban has never been ranked lower than #1

as an undefeated, defending national champion, with the exception of week 1 of the 2012 season (they started at #2, and moved back to #1 the very next week).

Im not sure how many is confused, other than why Bama wouldnt be 4.

1. OSU or LSU clear number 1 and then-other 2- point blank better wins and this far a better season. If you put us or Bama above for past winning or eye test-why play the games.

2. Penn State did beat 2 solid teams and is pretty balanced O and D with us and Bama only beating a decent 3 loss team and Bama having D concerns and a hurt QB.

3. I could make a case we are more balanced thus should be ahead of Bama but the common opponent they jad away and we had home and they didnt have a close call at UNC and have a similar weak schedule.


Not only do I not worry because of all the people who play each other- I also think 5 makes sense at this stage

also ahead of Bama! Ours and Bamas resumes are too similar, and we have a much better defense. Either put PaSt 3rd or 5th.
