Let's do just a brief Q&A, 'kay?
Q: If it was "just a rally that got out of control", why did the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers not attend the rally, and why were they already moving into position around the Capitol before Trump's speech even started? Why were they meeting in underground parking garages the day before?
My A: It's almost like they were planning a seditious conspiracy. And hey...whaddya know. They're being charged for just that. Three of them have already pled guilty.
If it was "just a rally that got out of control", why were members of the 3%'ers doing recon tours of the Capitol's underground tunnels and security checkpoints the day before? And why did these guys obviously know there was going to be a massive riot that would cover their entrance into the Capitol?
My A: It's almost like they knew what Trump was planning to do. Hey, the video clearly shows they did know.
Q: If it was "just a rally that got out of control", why did Steve Bannon know "crazy sh!t" was going to be happening, and that "it wasn't go to go at all how people think it will"?
My A: It's almost like he knew what was going to happen. I mean, he was really specific.
Q: If it was "just a rally that got out of control", why did Mark Meadows tell Cassidy Hutchinson that "tomorrow is going to get really bad"?
My A: Because he did. That's now been confirmed by none other than Pat Cipollone.
If it was "just a rally that got out of control", why were the President's own men, Michael Flynn and Roger Stone, spending their days prior meeting with these very same people - who are now being charged with seditious conspiracy - who were clearly planning a violent upheaval of the US government?
My A: Because they were. There's photos and video everywhere of just that.
Shall I go on? Because there's 50 more glaring obvious questions just like this nobody in MAGA World can remotely answer.
Again, I'm pretty sure the upcoming court cases are about to go like Bannon's just did...and like the election challenges did to the tune of a 1-for-61 record, which even the South Carolina Gamecocks would be ashamed of. MAGA is very good at reality denial and living in their WWE Smackdown reality, and herping in derping in unison like a really creepy cult, but that tends to not do so well in actual courtrooms where actual evidence and the actual law are actually applied. Actually MAGA has a real problem with that word "actual", which is why I've used it about ten times in the last couple sentences.

I met some people yesterday in a parking garage downtown. We weren’t underground though, as they would be full of water in Charleston. We met ‘cause we were deciding where to eat. It was the day before an “event” as well. Should I turn myself in?

On question #1: Did you ever stop to think OK's and PB's made up 99 % of those who intended to "overthrow" the Government? We've all seen the videos of DC Police moving barriers and motioning rallies to enter the Capitol grounds. Only a small number did compared to how many people were there. It seems 99% were there to show support for their outgoing President and nothing else.
FYI Dems won't allow a fair election in their own primaries as shown by the false numbers reported for Bernie Sanders against HRC. I don't see why it's so hard to believe Trump supporters find the numbers reported in Philly, Atlanta, Detroit, etc. in the 2020 General Election suspect.
If you want to make objective posts on here nobody will hold it against you. You can do better. I'm pulling for you.

1). How can you form opinions about the hearings unless you watch them and don't give me that weak sauce crap about watching the news about them as Fox is not even showing some and tries to downplay them as political theater just like you do.
2). You say "I didn't comment about Trump" but your first post on this thread starts "Imagine if Trump had used the IRS, FBI, and DOJ". Your'e losing touch with reality T3 and btw, Trump used the DOJ, mainly to protect himself and to protect his allies and wanted to use them to help overturn a free and fair election for the first time in US history.
3). "No evidence"? LOL, this just proves you haven't paid attention. Eyewitness testimony from his closest allies and Whitehouse staff are not evidence???? Again, your'e losing it! Plenty of people sitting in jail right now based only on eyewitness testimony.
4). "This is a show trial targeted at low information types". Well, that's a doozy there! Seems to me one would have to watch for themselves, take in the INFORMATION and determine for themselves if it's just a "show trial". This would make them a HIGH INFORMATION type. The low information types ignore them then come on a political chat site and BLOVIATE nonsense about them or spew the narrative they've heard from others.

The difficulty is that the people testifying are all doing so under oath. If it is discovered they committed perjury and lied, they go to jail.
Strangely no one seems to be raising their hands and testifying these former members of the Trump Administration are lying. When questioned, in fact, the folks being accused of misdeeds by the Republican members of Trump's own administration either aren't answering their subpoenas...or they plead the fifth.
Nobody seems to be arguing with the witnesses. At least not under oath. There's vague rumblings that Secret Service guys are quibbling about the fight in the SUV, but instead of appearing and raising their hands, they instead seem to be (drum roll)...deleting their texts.
Convincing arguments. And those non-arguments are going to turn out in court about like it's been turning out for MAGA any time they actually appear in a real courtroom, which is Not Well.
