Coaching moves within the ACC...

So... was perusing the webs and was surprised to see that UNC's offensive coordinator, Phil Longo, and the UNC offensive line coach Jack Bicknell are both headed to Wisconsin to do the same job - lateral moves. Combine that with the high number of players bolting UNC via the portal (6 DB's alone including starter Storm Duck) and makes me wonder if there is a belief (founded or unfounded) in Chapel Hill that Mack Brown may be getting close to calling it a day and retiring.

Also see that Jeff Brohm has left Purdue and is headed home to Louisville - figured that one was coming after Satterfield bolted.

I agree. There will probably be a few ACC teams we play who are ranked

Clemson doesn't care about basketball....as evidenced by Brown-L getting 14 years.

Don't sell Brohm short. What he did at Purdue with what he had was pretty amazing at times. Plus he asked and got help/guidance from Dabo when he first got the job. He will make Louisville better.

FSU is on the move upward. They are continuing to use the portal well. At least got them in the valley next year. I do think they may be our toughest opponent in the ACC next year.

I have my eye on Brent Key at GT.

They played far better at the end of the season and without the starter at QB who started the season. I can see them being a handful "soon"! Plus, the talent around the Atlanta area is tremendous.

Louisville will be better; for sure. He will be able to attract far more athletes at Louisville than he did at Purdue.

I see NCSU, Wake, UNC taking steps back. I know undisciplined non-compliant Tarheels still have Mack and Maye; but Longo was that offense.

Should be interesting!

I look for NCSU to take a giant leap backwards. They are losing a lot this year due to graduation plus the portal. This year was the year they were to make noise because almost everyone returned. Now they are gone.
