Adam Randall recruitment and reviews

As I recall he was a great HS player that was fairly late getting our offer. Many here worried it was too late to get him but it wasnt thankfully. So what was the delay ? Who was on the board ahead of him or what delayed offering? Clearly the spring comments about him are off the charts and confirm he is going to have an impact

I think you might be confusing Adam Randall with Antonio Williams. Williams was a late offer. According to the information in the Recruiting Section, Randall committed to Clemson in December 2020.

prospect, regardless of how many stars and bars they may have, until he has had a chance to personally interact with them and gauge them as young men, as well as football players.

This is why Clemson extends far fewer offers than other "Big Football" schools. It is also why we "miss" on less players who choose to attend Clemson than do some other schools. Dabo will protect the culture he has built at Clemson with dogged determination. It is, I believe, the Number 1 reason he hesitates to take players from the Transfer Portal, for good or bad.

Not necessarily true…Clemson latches to a recruit that absolutely want and will not recruit that position until the recruit decides what he wants to do…It’s burned us a few times…it’s a Swinney policy so it is what it is.
