Adam Randall

Apr 4, 2022, 1:09 PM

joins the list of WRs that we can't keep healthy. Injuries are a part of the game but its getting out of hand.

Wonder how long his recovery will be.

I used to think it was a year for an ACL, but with all this new technology not sure if the healing process has been sped up. Seems some come back earlier but not sure if it was just more extensive rehab on their part or just good fortune.

It's reported that clarity to the extent of the knee injury should be known today. Dabo may or may not reveal the extent. One thing sounds certain, we will NOT see him Saturday.

One injury doesn’t define a player or mean they won’t play a lot as a tiger. Amari Rodgers tore his ACL around this same time going into his senior season. He then went on to have a pretty good senior season. To early to get worked up about it.

People *must* get worked up ... it’s a TNet rule.***

Yep. If hand-wringing were a sport TNet would be #1 in that too!

Our Tigers are so injury prone. Why? Are they not getting the proper strength training?

I have thought the opposite. It seems they are in such good shape tight and fit that it’s like being wound up to tight. Something has to give. That’s just me thinking about what the issues could be. Just don’t remember seeing ACL injuries like you see now in college and in the pros.

There’s a bunch of ways they say you can strengthen ligaments. Mostly through diet but intensive worksouts degrade ligaments and the recover in the rest period. Running backs and receivers just play positions where they plant and cut a lot. Not really a good combination, I think it’s just the luck of the draw sometimes.
