ACC Omaha

So far Miami looks pretty strong. Does the ACC have anyone else that could make a deep run to the CWS? Also looked at the rankings to see if we had made it back into the top 25 (no dice), but did see that Tenn has probably the best record I have ever seen. That is insane.

Virginia, Louisville, Notre Dame, and Virginia Tech are all ranked and all pretty good. Miami is solid top to bottom, love their lineup and pitching. But UVA is right there.

Is Virginia Tech a surprise team this year? I don't remember them being historically great in baseball. Wish our Tigers had a little more consistency this year as well and we could be in that conversation.

I thought they had a chance to be ok, but it all depends on their pitching. They won one at ND and then series was canceled, but took two of three from UNC and NC State

Yea just wondering who really had a legitimate chance at being top 8. NC State and Clemson had been ranked, and neither are very good. Good info though better than what I had in mind thanks!

Bill Wilhelm's 1991 Clemson team might have been the best all time if they had gone on to win a National Title that season.They were 60-8 going into the College World Series and ended up going 0-2 to finish at 60-10 on the season.
