made for the new SPP. Spectrum Pricing package. After 6 calls, two visits by tech guys and two visits to the store, i finally learned that. I'm now required to take all of my HD boxes in and trade them. Absolute ignorance by everyone involved with that company. The CEO should be fired. I could run that company better sitting on the bow of a bass boat...
DISH is one of the worst with channel negotiations. I can't get my local Fox 21 channel and haven't for months. Also don't get Fox Sports anymore.
For Thursday's game, I'm on the 5 day free YouTube TV trial. That looks like it will work for now.]
Longer term, we're looking at all of our options.
I really like DISH in general - the DVR, DISH on Demand, the interface, and that it works with my Google Home. But they're becoming a pain in the ####. I understand the bottom-line with money and revenue, but I also understand you have to take care of your customer base, and I don't think they're giving us much consideration.
Did my calling to Dish and got no where. Finally did research and went on trial with Youtube-TV. Getting around is different. Dish is easy access to channels...Youtube is scrolling and still getting the controls under control....but, we get Accn....and that is what counts. Planning to put Dish on Sleeper during the change over to ease into the new way of doing things. Maybe by the time I get good at channel scrolling, Dish will get their act together and I will go back....but may like the more economical side of the fence. Youtube-tv offers a lot for $50/a mo.
I have been talking to Dish/Sling for several weeks and keep getting the run around. I switched to Hulu-TV yesterday. I think youtube TV is slightly better but you get the Hulu streaming library included in their package so I am going to try that one. In either case, ACCN runs great.
