Just put it out of misery..and let’s go our separate ways. ACC can not keep going like this, either $het, or get off the pot……WV/Baylor/OSU/Oregon/Wash/TCU/ are still out there…….buck up and add some new TV markets or die…….your choice

I would assume that many of these teams have either said "no thanks" or they are slow-playing agreeing to anything until they know for sure they won't have a SEC/B1G invite soon. It would certainly appear that one of the 3 remaining conferences could position themselves to be the next best option to SEC or B1G. The ACC's GOR is likely bogging things down though.

I think you’re spot on. The GOR’s purpose was to keep teams in (hog tied) and now with expansion needed to expand and increase TV revenue - it’s keeping any team with even a pea brain, out. As for fault for being in this situation, every ACC team’s AD (or whoever signed up for this “deal”), should look in the mirror. Be careful what you ask for, you just may get it - enjoy.

Having to use vulgarities to get your point across merely points out your obvious lack of vocabulary. It definitely does not make you seem tough or manly.

consider in any way. This expanding in all sports so far away from home is going to be a real problem for the B1G, and Big XII. Not so much the SEC as they've kept it tighter. There are unintended consequences there. Just because you can afford charter planes doesn't mean you should go that route. Family. Fans for the small sports. It's going to eat away at something that in time will reveal itself. One big reason today that West Va seems a non-player is that they've spent nearly a decade in the Southwestern desert in sports.
College sports is like Medieval village clashes. Once you start putting too much territory in between, and foreign ways, the fire ebbs out and less start to care.
The ACC is proof positive that chasing TV markets is fools gold. It's about what's on the TV, not where the TV is.
